PIBBA Feature: Ocean Is Our Life
The ocean is our life.
She is the source of our livelihood;
She should be taken care of
For our generations to benefit from.

PIBBA Feature: Ripples of the Ocean
Calm and collected at the scene,
I see blue and green that reminds me of serene.
Grain of sands on my toes.
I love the feeling
The ripples of the water
Crashing on my body.
Oh the ocean,
How I cherish thee.

Ocean, Ocean
Why are you so giving?
Ocean, Ocean
Are you happy or sad today?
*Note: Sablan attended the PIBBA workshop titled, "A Pacific Spoonful of Thoughts on the Ocean" presented by Dr. Matilda Naputi Rivera. Additional poems from the workshop will be featured here and may also be featured on the online Pacific anthologies, Guam Poets Club and Micronesian Poets Club.
