PIBBA Officers Present at the NABE Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana

PIBBA Officers, namely Dr. Jose Q. Cruz and Dr. Matilda Naputi Rivera presented at the NABE Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 19, 2011 during the Asian-Pacific Islander SIG session. In particular, Dr. Rivera focused on the use of digital storytelling to build the schema of English Language Learners on Guam, and Dr. Cruz focused on scaffolding for excellence using SAT10 scores. Past PIBBA International President Rosa Salas Palomo was the Chairperson of the session, and newly-elected PIBBA Guam Historian Zander Refilong assisted in the session. The following is a snapshot taken after the session.
