Congratulations to the PIBBA Officers who presented at the 43rd Annual National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE) Conference held in San Diego, California February 12-15, 2014! The theme was
Sailing into the 21st Century: Multiple Languages, Multiple Paths, Lifelong Advantages. Dr. Jose Cruz, PIBBA Guam Chapter Historian, and Dr. Matilda Naputi Rivera, PIBBA Webmaster, had the honor of presenting culturally-relevant papers at the conference. Rosa Salas Palomo, PIBBA International Treasurer, served as the Chair during our Asian Pacific Islanders Special Interest Group session. In particular, Dr. Cruz's presentation was titled
