Condolences for Judge Ramon Diaz

The PIBBA family extends its deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of Judge Ramon V. "Pappy" Diaz, our PIBBA friend and father-in-law of PIBBA Guam Chapter President-Elect Dr. Arlene Camacho Salas Diaz. Pappy left this earth on January 15, 2012. He leaves behind "Mammy", his wife of 64 years, and 9 children, Marilu Martinez, Mariles Benevente, MariLen Artero, MariBel Chandler, MariAnn Carr, MariCar Davis, Tony, Vince and Ramon "Butch" Diaz. Pappy is now eternally joined with Carlos Diaz, his eldest son and the late husband of Dr. Arn Diaz. He retired from the Superior Court of Guam. He served on the bench from 1980 until 1994. He was the first Filipino appointed to the Guam Judiciary. He was also a Catholic deacon. He will always be remembered. God Bless him and his family. May he rest in peace. Masses are held nightly at the Agana Cathedral Basilica at 6:00 p.m., followed by the rosary at 6:30 p.m.
The funeral mass will be at 1:00 pm at the Hagatna Cathedral Basilica, on  Wednesday, January 25, 2012.  Viewing will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  For those who live in the Dededo area, you can come pay respects at the Santa Barbara Church, Tuesday evening during the Deacon's Vigil, 7:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m.

PIBBA/Ginen I Hila Story Hour at the Hagatna Public Library


PIBBA, in conjunction with Ginen I Hila, will be providing storytelling/arts and crafts on February 4, 11, 18, and 25 at the Hagatna Public Library. The story hour is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Join us for a culturally-enriched celebration of stories!
